not much of a scoop !

surely thats just a sheet of carbon ?

Someone was going to lend me some so I could take a mould and get them made in carbon, but for the life of me I can't remember who.

We make British Sportscar parts in full autoclaved carbonfibre and I am working on some Noble bits already (three piece front splitter and a proper rear diffuser).

Check my posts to see what we have made for TVR's.

I don't fancy sticking them on with masking tape though !!

We would make bonding strips to go with them as I dont want to drill my P&J.

They use sikaflex on the M400's - no screws. also to fit these the bodywork is cut to fit the grill!!

i'm interested, have you got a price in mind ?

If I can get hold of the ones Alex has I can get a price as it will depend on how much carbon is needed, the complexity of the mould (which looks a P of P) and what finishing is required. I would propose spraying them with an aircraft barrier product as its virtually bullet proof.

Is that a clear coat?
Quite like the idea of "naked" carbon.

Anyone know if this topic got any further.
I want to get more air into the engine bay and to the fuel pump and increasing the side scoop is a good start.
If these have been made, can someone give me contact details, maybe price etc

Noble dealer (but dont hold your breath) Cost around £150(excluding the mesh) but that was direct from the factory.

They secure to the wing with good old sicoflex. Remember you will also have to cut away the wing and also attach the mesh(this being a right pain as Noble wont sell the formed mesh the originals had, but might have a solution to this in the future.

I wouldn't get too hung up on side scoops to be honest. The only thing they give you is a bit more room to put in an oil cooler, due to the clam being cut so much. They don't do much for airflow believe me....

Correct - at around 70mph there is almost no air going into the scoops; the flow delaminates from the side of car and is taken wide of the air scoops. To keep your oil cool, either re-site cooler to the front of the car or (easier and cheaper) turn the oil cooler through 90 degrees and add a fan.
