Wheel Bearings
Discussion
Does anyone know if the Wheel bearings for the M12 are stock items or bespoke?
Some urgency 'cus' my friendly mechanic is going looking for a set for a rear wheel tomorrow and I'd rather pay Ford (et al) prices than Noble dealer (not that I'd for one moment think that a noble dealer would mark up the price!)
Oh and the moral to this is "if you hear a rubbing noise from the back of your the car don't think it's not serious and have it checked out straight away".. however good the weather is!)

Looked into this in some detail with the wobbly hubs issue, and yes, the std Mondeo units don't transfer across on the 3s and M400s. Pretty sure it's the same on the 2.5s but I could be wrong. Even got copies of all drawings from Ford for the bearings on various Mondeos......
By the way, pretty impressive power and torque figures from your new motor. Hope it works well for you. Good luck for next season.

Might be talking out of my blunt end, but i'd have thought it highly unlikely the bearings were unique to Noble.
Take a really close look at the races - you might find a part number or other making that can be cross referenced by an experienced bearing reseller..

If they are tapered roller bearings you will normally find reference letters/numbers on the edges of the inner and outer races (ie LM48510). The references will be different on each race and you'll need both to be able to source directly from a bearing supplier. The best way would be to take the old bearing to your local bearing supplier who will probably be able to match it.
Can you post the part refs in the wiki when you've got them, please
