Where do I join the club

We arrange meets, track days, drunken evenings and weekends, trips to Le Mans and just about anything you can think of.

There was www.nobleownersclub.com that Joolski had kindly set up but the site seems to be down now. I told the ins co. that I was a member of that and they were fine with it. Just tell them you are a member of it. (they'll never find it to prove you wrong)

...and it's a shame too.Both Owen and myself spent a great deal of time getting the club up and running, but despite sending out plenty of flyers for the last track day, I received about 5 responses.
After spending a weekend stuff envelopes, getting 5 responses was a bit of a let down. Of the people that did make the effort to contact me, most were considering selling the car due to the lack of confidence in Noble producing another car. And they didn't want to track something they wanted to sell.
I actually started the club, or a mailing list as it was back then before Noble had even produced the first customer car. And the input from Noble on the list was brilliant. But alas, no more.
But don't let my whinging put you off. The Owners of Noble cars, are by far the best bunch of Petrol heads I've ever spent time with. Hopefully you'll enjoy the stay.

Jools, I think the poor take up for the track day bears no relation to people wanting to have an owners club!! A lot of owners dont track their cars, I dont anymore(noise and wear being the reason), but would still be interested in joining a owners club.
I understand your time is limited, so maybe it would make sense to see if someone else (who has the time) to get one up and running.
My 2p worth.

The difference between what you get from Pistonheads, and what you would get from a bespoke noble club is very limited.
Most people use the pistonheads forums to meet up with other owners, and owners of other car Marques.
You could spend a great deal of time setting it all up effectively delivery very little more than is already here.
Would I go to an owners club site now ? No, I'd just surf over to pistonheads, and check of the forums for that particular make, or perhaps look on a general site for that type of car. We now have the US Noble forum, and nobleparts.
What we have now, is probably more than enough.... but if you want to take it on. Be my guest.

I guess where I am coming from is the fact that if we have a official OC, this helps with insurance, group buys(maybe) and meets. If it is done that way for say a once a year meet it can be mailed out as there seem to be a lot of owners who are not on either Pistonheads or Nobleparts.
I would be happy to spend a bit of time on this, but for any club to work I think you need to have at least 2-4 people willing to spend some time on it.
I think Alex is right. To do the club properly would be extremely time consuming. Almost to the point of being a full time job !
We are very lucky though, this forum (with nobleparts backing it up) is truly awesome. Miles better than most of the others and is a proper owners community.
If there's an "official" club, with subscription and fees and a bank account etc etc, then there's both liability and responsibility. That's a pain, particularly when people move on (which they do) and don't want to do it anymore!
There's also the issue of take up and support. I've seen no end of times the interest on here soar for an event, or for a model car, or for a group buy. Almost all of them peter out. Even after the owners club site was set up and a mailer was sent to over 500 addresses, there was only around 5 non pistonheads people who signed up !
It would be interesting to see some stats on the forum usage... I can't help thinking then actual number of keen regulars (the type needed to really get a club going) would be much smaller than you might think !

I did some analysis not so long ago when I placed a link here on the forum and counted the number of referrals and I was amazed but just how few there were. Anyhow, as obes rightly says, lets go burn some rubber :-)
