M400 Touch Up Paint

I have just taken delivery of a Monza (I think) Red M400. It has a couple of stone chips that I wish to touch up. Can someone tell me where to get a touchup stick. Kerridges have told me that Noble don't do them, but I guess it is a colour from another manufacturer.

Also, the car has the small quarter splitters fitted to the front. I see a full width Carbon/Fibreglass splitter in the classifieds for sale. I prefer the look of the full width splitter and don't pass many sleeping policeman. Will the splitter fit my M400? Will I need to drill holes in the front clam or are they already there.

Moved up from an S2 elise with Honda + supercharger and find the Noble awesome

Just provide the PPG code.

For the PPG code go have a look on www.gto3.com

The splitter will fit yours, but you will have to drill holes, as all the splitters/front clams are different, easy enough Job.

Thats funny as Kerridges just gave me a pot when I bought my Monza Red one a couple of months ago. Go back to David Foster and ask them to get you some from Paul's.

p.s. If you want a splitter you can have mine for a reasonable consideration as I now have a carbon one!

Yes I am fitting it temporarily to mine while we use the factory one to make a three piece carbon one, plus I was curious as to the quality, which is actually pretty good, but it does not look autoclaved.

I would be interested in your carbon one once you have built your 3 piece. Will you be selling copies of the 3 piece version?

In simple terms cooking under pressure.

A number of companies do what is called wet lay up but do not use an autoclave to effectively cook off the carbonfibre composite. This provides increased strength.

The spoiler I am making will be three piece (split on each of the corners so if you ding a bit you can replace just hat bit). Ours will be autoclaved.

do you have a price in mind for the three piece?

Until we make one I dont know, but I am expecting between £150-£200. The main cost in this is the carbonfibre as it is expensive. The manufacture is fairly easy as the design is not complex.

As he says shed loads. Our partners are just investing in a huuuuuuge one so they can then make clam shells etc.
