Hi fella's,

Just in the process of putting the motor back together after tarting the chassis up and wrapping the exhaust. I've noticed a small leak from the water hose that goes from the 4 way union to the front of the car. It's right at the join so not to much of a problem. However, I would prefer to change the whole hose.

My question is, what and where should I get another one?

I remember someone mentioning that it should be 10mm and to buy a 4 metre length. But after looking at the pipe it appears bigger, or I could just be a plonker. The core appears to be around 15mm??

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

James

thehose from front to back is a 4mtr length. Is the hose in question near the inspection hatch? if so it could be the one that goes to the heater matrix

Good question, and I don't know. I will have to have a look.

I have bought a pipe joiner for now and will have that in place until I have the time to change the whole hose.

Does any one on here have a diagram of the water hoses on a Noble, I seem to remember seeing one attached to a thread?

All I can remember at the moment is that it's the hose that runs of the bottom of the 4 way union. Although I assume this could be different on other cars.

Thanks for the replies guys.

James.

When I use my heater, I do get a slight smell of rad water and I am looseing coolant. I suspect that mine are perishing also.
Can someone outline the proceedure to get to the heater matrix and affending pipework.
