I've asked a couple of times on here (and at the factory) and the consensus for maybe a slightly more road biased tyre for the M400, without mucking up the handling balance was the Pirelli Rossos.I'm having mine on in the next week, just a shame it means 4 instead of two, but I'm not paying for them all either!

Not sure if all the same brands/types are available in the UK, but there should be some crossovers.

Goodyear F1's were excellent for road use.

The car was designed on Corsas, put Corsas on.

I would not even consider anything else.

IMHO of course.

Sorry but i don't believe anything on the M12/M400 was designed in as part of a structured programm, they stuck them on because they got a deal on them.

I am having a new set put on by Kerridges later this month when I get my service and MOT done, and they said to me that the factory were now advising servicing centres to supply the Rosso.

That wasn't the case with the M400 as I was privilidged to see it in development and Lee when through a lot of tyre/suspension combinations before he decided on the Corsas. After he did there was significant miles done at Brunters and on the roads around Barwell and further abroad to get the settings right for the Corsas.

Consequently there wasn't any other tyre he would 'recommend' as the suspension was never extensivly tested with anything else, but the Rossos apparently do fit the bill. To that end, anything else recommended by oweners is probably just as good as if you've 'tested' it yourself and found it works then that is probably just as good as what the factory did.

Are Corsa's that hard to get hold of though? They've been fine for me with the normal 'brainTC' enabled, even in snow, for me.

I just called two places to get a full set of Corsas yesterday, so it would appear not too difficult.
