Happy new year to the Nobility!

Quick question on a prezzie I got this year...

I was given a 'supagard' car care kit for Christmas, which includes some Acid rain neutralizing shampoo, upholstery cleaner, tyre and bumper shine, alloy wheel cleaner, alloy wheel protection and some paint seal cream.

It all looks great, however, I'm not sure whether to get involved with the paint seal cream. It almost sounds like the cream is supposed to be used on cars which have already had the supagard 'paint sealant' treatment, does this seem feasible? i.e. The cream is designed to 'top up' a previous treatment? Has anyone had any experience with supagard?

yes, for cars already supaguarded.

(p.s. it is shite stuff and costs dealers about £30, but retails to you at £200+. A good clean with decent shampoo and polish would be preferable)

And Halfords are now selling the nicest smelling polish in the world (Zymol in a pale blue bottle)

zymol is a good start. The blue stuff from Halfwits smells like bounty bars.

I would use a paintcleanser like Zymol HD cleanse and then polish and wax.
