Looking for Noble servicing in Scotland ...
Discussion
Hi all
Looking to buy a M12 but very difficult if no place to service and maintain :-(
I'm based in Edinburgh - so anywhere in central belt would be great.
I know there is no offical Noble agent.
But what about independents?
Please give me hope that there is somewhere.
Please, please please.
Let me know,
Cheers
Kenny

Hi Kenny,
I have an M12 and live in Edinburgh, I used to use John Muir he is very good but a bit awkward if in Edinburgh, I have a friend who has done all the work on my car and has a garage in Dalkeith, he is excellent and has had my car in bits many times including the engine! and she runs perfectly, he has just fitted all my new suspension, exhaust system, new wheel bearing on the rear and track rod ends to the front, car is like new and he is very reasonable. just mail me for details.
Regards
David

I bought a Noble about 3 months ago fully aware of the fact there is no authorised dealers North of the border and I live up in Aberdeen.
As said before Noble themselves recommend Murray Motors but I have heard you may be better going elsewhere. Hexam Horseless Carriages is not too far from you, near Newcastle if you want to get a stamp in the book.
These guys http://www.topgear-cars.co.uk apparently have a few Nobles on their books and are expereinced in servicing specialist machinery, based in West Lothian.
Hope that helps
Iain

I have had some bad experiences with specialist companies for car servicing etc but I guess I got lucky as my local garage have worked on a few Nobles and have done me good work.
Any small problems, I take the car down and they take a look there and then. One of the benefits of supporting a local private owned garage is the personal service.

Any idea what they charge as an hourly rate? I want to get the floor off mine and have the chassis checked for any corrosion. The carpet on both sides of the tunnel is wet but I'm not sure if it's because the seal has gone or the hoses have perished. My gut feeling is it's the latter.
Cheers,
Graeme
