Anyone know this one

Guys,
Do any of you know anything about the Noble at this place,
also, what would be involved in the " 400BHP Factory upgrade ".
Is it possible to find out from the factory what was done, if so, can someone supply me with the relevant numbers to call.

The only one I see there is the red one, but I can't find anything about a 400bhp factory upgrade. In fact, being an M400 that would be a downgrade.

Steve - couldn't see what car you are referring to - the only car I could see in the 'Used' section was a SaggyArse. However I do know the guys at TVR Centre very well and they are top blokes. Give Mark a ring, and you'll get a straight answer to any questions you may have.

The Sagaris comes up first, if you then look to the left you will see a drop down box with the rest of the stock in it, there you will find the noble I mentioned.
I will indeed give them a call, but I thought it would be nice to have a little knowledge of what I'm looking at.

I would guess its a John Noble Motorsport stage 3 upgrade that it has had which gives around 400bhp.

I should have said in my original post that it was the 3R that I was asking about.
If it has had the stage 3 upgrade from the factory, how can this be verified, apart from talking to the dealer.

I doubt very much its a factory upgrade.
John Noble Motorsoprt did the original engine upgrade from the standard Ford unit for Noble Automotive.
Im sure JNM will have records if they have done it.

The only place I know that talks about staged upgrades is JNM. I also doubt it's a factory upgrade.

Have just spoken to the dealer and they are saying that they think that it is a factory upgrade, going to try and trace the paperwork for me.
Is there any way of double checking this.

I can't recall the factory doing this ever. They even refused to sell any 3R lights or wheels to GTO owners for a while, and side pods to 3R owners, so as not to blur the edges between models. I can't see a 400bhp upgrade being much different. It's not impossible though, they put the M400 gear linkage/tunnel and front anti-roll bars on my 3R for me.

Have just recieved an invoice from Noble Automotive with the power upgrade on it, was done when the car had about 1K miles on it.

On from this, if I was interested in this, or any other car, i would like it inspected by someone that knows what their looking at.
Who/Where are the best people to carry out such an inspection.
I already know of JNM, but is there anyone else you would trust.

All this 'stage 3/4/9' talk really pisses me off. It reminds me off the old days when the Ford Escort boys used to go around saying 'I've got a stage 3 head but stage 2 cabs.'

What's that mean I used to ask. 'Dunno mate just more power'. Right.

The factory did do some factory upgrades. I believe Justin will know about the 2.5l one, and there were 3 pre M400 development cars with about 400bhp.

Dunno about this car but I'd bet its just a remap and more boost.....
