Euro Trip in the Summer
Discussion
Well it's 4 weeks since I got my M400, and the smile is still on my face.
I hope to plan a trip into Europe this summer possibly Germany to visit friends.
Any advise from anyone, as I have been many many times abroad driving, but never
with a car with (NO) luggage space.
I am due a service 1st June so planning to go after that.
My worry is are these fabulous cars reliable on a trip like this,
and do I need to make any special preperations for this.
I look forward to any contructive comments
Cheers

Shouldn't have any problems mines been to Le Mans and back a couple of times with some fairly spirited driving and not had any problems. Many others on here have been further afield. Having said that its worth getting the best breakdown cover you can afford just in case.
If you are using any pay roads like in France aquiring a transponder thingy is a real bonus and saves having to get out of the car to pay the tolls

There was bespoke Noble luggage available for these cars. It fits behind the seat backs, on the rear "parcel shelf" and under the seats, they are reasonably well tailored and if packed carefully you could surprise youself at how much luggage you can carry.
Someone on here may part with their "bags" for the right price. Oh and they came in leather or cordura.

Definitely get Euro breakdown cover. You can guarantee that if the car is going to throw a wobbly it will wait till you're at the farthest point away. Couple of years ago I had to have my M400 trailered back from Germany (AA 5 Star Euro). Excellent service. My gear-lever wore a hole in the the waterhose that goes through the central tunnel - obviously the hose was not sited correctly at manufacture. Did it let go backing out of my drive? No, it waited till I was on some un-numbered B road in Germany, pissing with rain and getting dark, before the cabin filled with steam and water. Felt like doing a Basil Fawtly with a birch twig!
But don't let that put you off- you'll love it, and every one will love the car. And you'd be amazed at how much stuff you can fit into the cabin.
