Fitting a Roush Exhaust
Discussion
I want to fit a Roush Exhaust to my M400.
I am trying to decide if I should get Roush or Plans to fit the exhaust. They are quoting 6 hours for the job.
Has anyone on here fitted one and have a 'blow by blow' guide and a view on the possible problems. My car is an early M400 with 5k miles and looks like it has never been wet, although it msut have been.
I have done a lot of mechanical work, have a good toolkit, but need to fit the exhaust with the cars back wheels on top of a couple of breeze blocks each side.
I will also update the fuel pump, loom and intercooler. Once all complete I will Roush to map the car.
Thanks in anticipation
Regards
Andrew

You can always buy one of these to help you out, the lift, not the car.

I have now collected my exhaust.
The pipework and cats are all ceramic coated.
I am going to fit in the next couple of weeks. Do I need to wrap the front of the exhaust, or is the fact that it is ceramic coated enough to control the heat.
The exhaust cost me £1800 + VAT (complete with two new CATs). No sure where the £2500 comes from that people talk about, may be that includes fitting.
Thanks for your help with this

You don't need to wrap ceramic coated pipes. The pipework and cats are all ceramic coated.

£2500 included fitting and re-map and a pair of straight through cat replacement pipes (as well as the cats)on my M400.
