typical, really nice sunny day yesturday so....

pumped up flat tyre on rs turbo which was on my drive, jump started it to get it out of the way so i could get noble out of the garage.

went for a really nice drive for about 5 min, when i heard a strange flaping noise from the back. stopped, had a look and the alternator belt had completely disintergrated into loads of belts about 1mm wide.

after spending ages picking all the bits out, have been to ford to whine as i only bought the belt in october, they have offered to replace free of charge but need to order and it wont be there til tuesday, grrrrrrrrrrrr

just got up to see its another nice day today as well so now i am really upset

Check the pullies for stones. That what I had after a few days of buying mine, a tiny stone was lodged in one of the pullies and it shreaded the belt.
