Hi can anyone recomend a good garage or mechanic to work on my car, would prefer somebody based in Scotland. Unfortunately a piece off slague from an old weld on manifold destroyed my turbo. Now fixed via universal turbos but now is emptying sump via engine breather into intake hose of turbo. Engine damage i suspect but curiosly engine is running perfectly no rattles or knocks and breather system seems unblocked and the engine was not starved of oil at the time of the turbo failure but did cut out and refused to run but was o.k again as soon as the recon turbo was fitted except for loosing oil. I would like to find or speak to an expert in Nobles this side of the border, i have a very good mechanic but he has no direct knowledge of Nobles.

Need all the help i can get.

Craig.

Thanks Jaz

Tried to contact Mv Turbos, but seems it shut down a few years back. They still have a web site might try emailing them. But if anyone has any other contacts i need as much help as i can get...

Try contacting Ronnie Cowan on 01383 723222/07768 726644.
He's in Dunfermline, buys and sells sports cars and bikes, very helpful chap.

Steve.

I am not sure but I believe John still picks up his emails at his MV Turbos address every now and then. I used him in April May last year after wasting a wad of money at the so called 'unofficial' Noble service centre in Edinburgh! John fixed all my problems that they could not even find!

He has a garage in Dunfermilne city centre as the Mossvale Garage is now a nice development of houses!

John is a turbo specialist also.

Jamie,

Sure have! Still love it when I get a chance to drive it. Looking forward to the better weather.

Haven't driven it at Knockhill for a while now- difficult to get a baby sitter these days. And with two kids, my Type R has been getting more usage.

Makes the new Nissan GT-R with back seats sound appealing.
