Insurance costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
What are you people paying for ins. these days, have a multi-car policy that used to cover my bmw, ( now sold ), and my little runabout, but they won't touch a noble on that, so have to cancel part of that and search for seperate ins. some of the qoutes I have been getting are frightening.
Have to wait until 2morrow for a qoute from A-Plan.
I know it's all about age/risk etc etc. but I am well the other side of 21 and live in a low risk area, car garaged, full no claims.
Yet the lowest qoute so far is about 900 quid, although that is off confused website, so probably not the best people to talk to.
Is this about normal for one of these cars.
Steve.

Insured my 3R through Classic Line, limited mileage (5000) garaged full NCB etc including the wife for £550. Their phone number is 01455 639000.
Mine is with ClassicLine as well ( just renewed 2 weeks ago ). Same deal as above, £750. I might be able to get it cheaper elsewhere but because I've always been impressed by their service so I've stuck with them. They are in the UK and their phones are not answered by some cretin in India who can't understand a word you say. When I rang to renew I'd hardly finished saying my name and they said "Ah yes, renewal on the Noble". NobleGuy said:

Just filled in the on-line form for Privelage, and £452, now that's better.
Will wait and see if a-plan can beat that, if not then i will try Classic.
Steve.
That's not bad Will wait and see if a-plan can beat that, if not then i will try Classic.

If you do happen to claim they only end up loading you when it comes to renewel. But I suppose the legal stuff is handy, what with all the un-insured scum-bags around these days.

Legal protection - yes, for £20. You get a barrister and all costs paid should it go to court.
NCB - I tend not to opt into this (famous last words!)
