Clutch question
Discussion
Hi All,
I`ve got the car up on axle stands as I`m changing discs and a rear wheel bearing and noticed something that seems a bit odd.
When the car is in neutral the rear wheels still have drive, if you fully press the clutch they stop and if in gear it behaves as normal. I have never noticed this while driving but I would have thought when in neutral the wheels shouldn’t have any drive. Its definitely drive as when you press the accelerator the Speedo just about registers a speed and the rate of rotation increases.
Could this be poor clutch installation (new one installed 6 months ago) or something simple or just normal?
Thanks
Rob
