Just paid up for my first race!!

Luckily they have announced an extra race which means my 1st outing will be on a wide circuit thats nearly 4 miles long, rather than Brands in cold November on a narrow 1 mile track!!

Getting very excited now. [read--plopping my y-fronts]

No pics yet. Its the racing green S1 elise. Just back from service chap who has given it a clean bill of health. When I get back from Vagas next week its off for the cage, fire ext. battery cutt off, full geo and corner weight. Then its back to me for a pair of carbon seats and harnesses.

Very exciting!!

Hi Richard, saw your motor at Kerridges the other day. Looked great!!

I've got my ards and a snetterton trackday booked together on august 12th. I have a silverstone track evening booked for mid july and would hope to try and get on there again with some instruction on the lines before the race.

I know silverstone's lines are a bit tricky on the full gp circuit so hopefully I'll get some tuition. Otherwise it'll be lots of GT2 on my PC

Its a bit strange that you go all the way there on the friday for a 30 min quali/practice and 1 x 20 minute race, then have to go all the way back again the next day for another 20 minute race! Not exactally a full days track driving!!

Actually got a flag wrong and failed, but the nice man let me re-write another paper and then passed me

Slippery surface, and muggins here wrote red and black, not red and yellow! There was a picture of it on the front of the paper too!!
