Can anyone recommend a good replacement/upgrade other than a Roush system.
I called plans motorsport today for a quote and it was rather stupid at nearly 4k.
That included M400 manifolds but no ECU remap they quoted £350.00 ish for that and suggested it would give an extra 25 ish BHP.
They also thought it would be min 16 hours!

A Roush exhaust will give you approximatly 40bhp and torque....and that's before a re-map with TJ, where i gained another 20 horses and the car was re-born! Very cheap concidering your getting a tried and tested exaust system that will last as long as the car, plus more power and drivability.................4 grand? No, it's a piss take. Even I could put one on in 16 hours. You'd have thought at 16 hours they had to take the engine out to do it 
Oh and i paid less than 3K for my exhaust, motorsport fuel pump, upgraded wiring and a full set-up on the rollers with TJ....so you are right, Plans are taking the michael...!
Rob, from personal experience, if the work includes manifolds, zorst, fuel pump and loom, unless you can call upon some mates and do it yourself, you won't get it done for much less than Plans have quoted you.
It may work out cheaper if the labour time they estimate is not required but they tend to err on the side of caution as turbo studs may sheer off etc.

The exhaust itself is £2100 inc Vat and when you add in Manifolds, Pump, Loom, Gaskets & Fixings, the parts alone come in at about £2900 inc VAT. The rest of the money is for the labour and only you can decide on whether that's good value or not.
I was shocked by the price when I started looking at this as I've seen many threads on here quoting c.£3000 but I can only assume the scope of work was different.
