I get loads of road noise off the rear tyres on mine ...does anyone have any experience about different tyres and how they vary (whilst still gripping like mad , obviously )

A few people have gone to the toyo R888's and seem very happy with them.

i find 888's very good. great dry grip and not bad in the wet either. also half the price of corsas.

I love the Corsas after the Bridgestones, but I'll be giving the 888s a bash next.

Was Out with Daddysumo when going to FT and they just take ages to get warm and as the road was a bit damp we were all over the place. When he had his 48s on (Very similar to the 888's) they warmed up much better and therfore were a bit safer.

Another shout for the R888 here. They seem every bit as good as the Corsa motorsport but at a lot better price. I'll definitely be putting another set on when the current ones need replacing.

Corsa's are good when hot but its hard on the road to properly achieve and maintain enough heat.
At brunters they worked well when hot and I will be testing them at Donny on Sunday.
The A048's I've run on a few cars and only have praise for them, awesome grip and easy to heat up and maintain, wet grip is on par with the corsas,888's etc.
The only downside is that the rears only last around 3k miles of 'normal' Noble type driving, and as yet I haven't
worn out a set of corsas so can't comment on how they last but are meant to be much better.

need to change my 888's, for the same again, but rears done 4000 mls fronts probably double that, so i'm happy with that
