Nice consistant driving with very respectible lap times, your car looked a pleasure to drive.
Have you modified the breaking or handling at all ?

Steve

hi steve

all standard, apart from ferodo ds2500 pads. will be upgrading to ap grooved discs + pagids when these discs worn out. still standard exhaust as well though that may change as well. slightly cautious about that as currently get tested around 94-96db static - so i can take the car to any circuit i want

cheers

Hi Conleth

I have the grooved front disc upgrade, AP race fluid and the DS 2500's and after a few hard laps the pedal was still nearly on the floor at the end of the back straight which was a bit worrying !
My Roush system has got progressively louder and if I kept it on the loud pedal on the pit straight near to the pit wall it failed the 98db noise limit (99db) and I got black flagged banghead
Did you suffer any undue brake fade/ excessive pedal movement ?

hi steve

not much fade/excessive travel but not braking as hard as i used to in my gto3 which had exactly the set up you're using. i found the brakes in that car awesome, would take 20-30mins severe punishment with little probs. not sure why yours should be going off so soon. was the system drained and the competion fluid used to replace or was it just run through? if still some standard fluid in the system could still be the weak link and cause excessive travel? not sure.

was talking to a bloke with a supercharged hyabusa (spelling?) westfield who tripped the noise meters on the sighting laps! then when pit lane opened after fitting more silencers tripped them again @ 114db on the pit straight! he left at lunchtime.

let me know if you're heading abck to donny @ any time and could try + meet up

cheers

Conleth,
For a standard motor that sounded pretty damned good biggrin Have you got a remote mic?, and if so where did you have it?

Martin.

PS - was that a little lock-up at about 13:30 going into the final chicane hehe

hi martin

just a basic 4kam set up with the battery pack + cables in the map pocket in the passenger footwell, the mic is on that so just hanging loose around there.

and yep, that was a lock up into the esses, hehe, keeps you on your toes!

cheers
