Brighton Speed Trials
Discussion
On the back of a top day at Brunters and before the winter pulls in, is anyone up for a meet by the sea, some fish & chips whilst watching a range of cars and bikes racing down the seafront?
Brighton speed trials 13th September http://www.brightonandhovemotorclub.co.uk/ is a collection of cars and bikes from the olden days through today’s supercars and sports bikes. Unfortunately unless you are registered and you have a National B licence there is no entry
to the strip. I might get my licence next year

The idea would be to meet up somewhere on the Southdown’s, a hoon over to Brighton Marina where we will park up. Then a walk (approx 1/2mile) to the trials.
Entry to the pit lane is about £10 per person. There are plenty of places to eat and drink along the seafront.
I’m on holiday next week returning on 3rd September

It’s looking good!!!

Metcheck forecast is saying that we should have lovely sunshine and a temp of 19 degrees.
Looking at meeting up at Goodwood about 8.30 – 9am, then a run across the South Downs to meet up with anyone coming down the M23 (approx 10am Handcross).
Is anyone coming out to play?

What time does all this start? And how long does it usually go on for?
I'm tempted to pop down as well. Lived in Brighton for 3 years and never went, so I think it is about time I go.
Also what is the traffic usually like getting into Brighton on this particular day, as my car overheats in traffic and so I try to avoid jams.

We can meet you on the M23 / A23 at Handcross Hill around 10am, then a trip around the back of brighton to park at the Marina (no traffic). It usualy goes on to late afternoon.I'm tempted to pop down as well. Lived in Brighton for 3 years and never went, so I think it is about time I go.

Saw this one as well. Love the colour of the alloys.

Forgot to put Nickseys number in my phone though, so couldn't find out where the Noble contingent were hanging out. Wasn't it just the best weather for it though?

you better watch out for those fluffy things in the road on the way back from Neils
