Just kerbed the side of the car in a car park and have cracked the drivers side panel running from the rear to the front. Can anybody suggest a repair company in the Bucks area?

yep, DC White in walthamstow, they are brilliant with fibreglass, proper bodyshop but also work on London taxis and ambulances, they just put my rear clam and wing back together and you can't see anything and it really was buggered.

02085206134 I dealt with Mick butI know he's on holiday this week.

Been trying to locate a more local company that can do this and not having much luck.
A lot of intakes of breath through gritted teeth and 'Mmmm, not sure....' responses.
A couple of them have asked me what the material is and I'm embarrassed to say I wasn't sure.
I know the splitter is GRP, but is the body fibreglass, GRP, or something else?

Think a less local company is going to be required.....

There are essentially no differences between GRP and fiberglass--see:

This is especially true when repairs are needed.

I have had some 1/4 splitters made out of black arylic, they need drilling and a radius put on them for looks when fitted. £37 inc vat and P&P for the pair.

Will be fitting them in the next few days.
