With the stories i've heard of more than one respected specialist removing clams and resting onto uncovered concrete floors, coupled with the major mods i'm carrying out on both my clams, topped with the fact that i have one customer's Noble in with me now, and at least one other coming in later this year, i'm going to make some clam stands.

Priorities - cheap to make, easy to store, multi-use...

So, 1" box steel, castors that lock. Will allow front or rear clam to mount near veritcal to save space, or horizontal at a height good for working on. Stores near flat for wall hanging.. Cost around £150.

Any other useful features i've not thought of?

Protoype to be unveiled in around 2 weeks.

Peter, what happened to your light ( 3 to 3R ) conversion ? Never mind clam stands, I'm more interested in the lights.

My front light conversion is done, ready for painting; OEM (not ebay) Hella/Bosch HID dip beam conversion, Hella HID driving light, sidelight, main beam and indicator all inside the 3R light cluster. Pic to follow.

Rear light F355 conversion just about done. Need to make moulds....

Paul,
I`m up for a set of your light pods, they`re a finishing touch to that `classic` look. Let me know how much they are please.
