Having a bad day!. Coming up the M40 today stone hits my screen and soon after a crack about ten inches long appears.
Question is what is the availability of screens I assume they are dealer supplied and if I claim on my insurance will it affect my NCB.

cheers

Steve

the screen is the same one fitted to the lotus elan

however the Noble one has a black area around the outside

you should be able to get autoglass to fit one

It wont affect your NCD. You'll just have to pay the windscreen excess, which is normally 100 sheets.

Had mine done earlier in the year and it was an insurance job £50 it cost no NCB lost. Autoglass charge the insurance company £1400 for the screen when I did the research you can buy it for £400 although the last post sounds like a steal.

We have some heated Noble screens in stock that were made on the orginal tooling with the full agreement of Noble. They have the Noble logo and were made by Pilkington.
The two wire tails are in the bottom corners and current draw is 15-18 amps.

Availability of the standard screens (with the correct black band around the edges and the mirror block) should be good through the factory.
