Four Roush exhausts available from Pipers

As the title says, Pipers have made four of the Roush exhausts out of their stock of parts. They need ceramic coating which should add just over a week to the delivery time. Anyone interested should phone Pipers direct.

They WILL be cheaper than that easily and we have an extensive knowledge of exhaust design testing and production.

Sounds good but i get the impression most cars already have the roush exhaust fitted.

On that pipercross website theres a picture of an M400 with flames exiting the rear, anyone know where those tail lights came from? also why such big flames? :?

only as its an exhaust, you can only do it so many ways, so no it is'nt, the Roush one was developed , tested and benchmarked, and give reliable proven gains, afaik to this is the only system that can do this.

Of course if anyone else want to post before and after figours be my guest

Not yet I'm afraid, just kitting out our new premises and awaiting a big present from Gadgeroonie.
As soon as we're in there though, I can get my mind back off building design and construction and start making some progress with the car.

One thing I know for certain, is that it will not be even remotely near £2K

It will be 304 grade Stainless Steel, we will monitor temps Ceramic coating will be an option, not a necessity, we would expect gains in the 20% region, but we will "before and after" everything.

Not sure there will be enough demand to jig the system though, might just do them as custom fitment only items?

Oops, you're quite right.
Circa 10% (who put those keys so close).

I'd think that 40BHP should be easily achievable though, probably more with a feww other tweeks?
An boy will we be doing some tweeking.

For anyone thinking of exhaust system upgrades, it might be a good time to re-visit this thread from the U.S. forum:

Bottom line is the safe power gain from a hi-quality, hi-flow exhaust system upgrade (3" and no "y" pipe) and a proper re-map is easily in the 30-40% range. OTOH, just bolting on a hi-flow exhaust system w/o a re-map is not likely to yield any significant power improvement--and could produce serious problems with regard to boost control and excessively lean AFRs.

Hi Martin.

Myself and Jase, the other co-owner are both capable and experienced mappers/tuners and have access to our own "guru" as well. <Edited to say not with Noble experience yet> Not managed to find time to have a go at mine yet due to an unexpected trip to hospital last year, then this building move Etc.

We're also involved in design/testing of an aftermarket ECU with Simtek, which will do more than anyone may ever want of it, it will be a generic one with a custom loom adapter.

Well, we will be when our new building is ready and the dyno installed and running.
