HHC hexham - black GTO3R - anyone know it?

Hi chaps,
I've been doing some car hunting lately, and whilst I've been set on getting a TVR, I dropped into HHC in Hexham earlier in the week to be greeted by a lovely Black GTO 3R which I've been mulling over since despite having potentially found the tuscan I've been looking for at the same time.
It seems very clean, though I didn't look at it properly as I told myself it was too far over the budget, the paintwork is lovely, some condensation in the front headlights which isn't too concerning, M400 seats are lovely looking things too.
In all honesty I doubt I'll make the jump to nobility just yet though I definately must, but I'm really smitten with this black 3R I must say, though I didn't get to sit in it or anything as I was in full bike clobber.
Anyone know anything about the car? Is the former owner a PH'er?

Thats what happend to me, i was on the hunt for a TVR then turned up to the garage and saw a Noble. The rest is history. I dont know anything about that car but regarding the headlight - its a very easy job to fix on your own. I had a small amount of condensation in one of my lights when i picked mine up and in the manual it even says just point the hair dryer at the back of it for 30mins. It worked fine, never had any condensation since and its been over a year since i did it.
You should ask for a test drive next time you're there

Done the TVR thing already myself, great cars and they sound fantastic. Had a couple of of Cerbs 4.2 and 4.5. As a comparative the Noble is a much better drivers car (obviously in my opinion) and apart from what seems like minor problems more reliable.
I would be very wary of the sp6 engine though, whats the average 12k between re-builds?. Mind you the Tuscan is a stunner.

Hi mate, yeah it's got the sort of rainbow effect metallic effect as well as the M400 seats. I'll drop you a line mate 
As for the TVR's, yeah I'm well prepared for it to need some pretty heavy maintenance, but it's purely a weekend toy to sit alongside the bikes in the garage really, though it will cover some milage still.
The Tuscan I've set my mind on is a nice example, well used but well looked after with extensive servicing, and comes from what I believe to be a very reputable local dealers, so I'm not too concerned really. I change cars pretty regularly and have a noble and porsche itch I want to scratch next year.
I did all the looking around and decided on a Carbon Black GTO-3....best decision ever!!
Get the Noble mate, you will not regret it. Much cheaper to maintain, more exclusive and a better drive than any TVR.

ETA: Thought about moving on but can't find any other car that gets close to the Nob. I've had it over three years, I normally have a six month turnaround.

I'm opting to give this car a miss, but I'm going to head down and have a look at kerridges before committing to buying a tiv.

At the minute with a business venture kicking off I'm a bit strapped as to what I can spend really, so if I can't quite stretch to a good, clean Noble I'll pick one up next year.
