I wouldn't. I'd rather have something from a bigger name with a track record than have my pistons in the sump.

+1 The Bosch is a proven unit at roughly £100 why take the chance?

Don't do it, buy the Bosch.

If it underperforms you may kill the engine.

We all know the Bosch works, as long as you do the wireing upgrade as well.

You cannot do one without the other, it is the loom that is the most important part of this upgrade.

OK thought as much...cheers guys.

Just to confirm what I need.

044 pump
relay fed by existing pump supply, 32amps?
new battery feed with inline fuse, 16 amp wire and fuse?
adapters for fuel in to pump?

Yup,
You may want to replace the link pipe between the pump and fuel filter,
its bee known to collapse.
I think Peter G has a good solid link solution.

Here you go:

-10 JIC low pressure hose
Aeromotive high flow filter
Bosch 044 pump
Rubber insulators for pump and filter to help reduce noise
Custom high flow non-return valve with -6 JIC outlet
