I foolishly agreed to do the Race of champions endurance kart race this weekend. Had a practice with the team last night and can still walk.

practice and qualifying is 10.00 saturday morning and the race starts at 12.00 and goes untill 12.00 Sunday.

we have 10 in our team, if you get bored and are near Wembley come and have a look.

I foolishly turned down a place on the team, which was regretted everytime the Metro would update me on the track construction whilst on the way to work. To be fair I get far to competitive, even with drivers in another leaguge, and would probably collapse at the wheel from exhaustion .

I can see the Wembley arch from my work, and was looking for a good excuse to get out of something tomorrow afternoon so I think I will come down and see what I missed out on.

It's inside the stadium on the Race of Champions curcuit, I dont know if they are charging admission for spectators.

I have loads of kit here includind a proper kart suit, rib protector and gloves if you need them mate? I'm sure given that your extremely loaded, that you have your own

Have fun mate and remember not to grip too tight!! (or your fingers will stop working after an hour!!)

we came 5th, were in 1st for a bit, was good fun and a unique experience, the team that won were all pro drivers, so was second, and third.

Some of the guys in our team were brilliant, not me though i just poodled around.
