I have mine upgraded but I'm not sure exactly what was done. Looks like it's just a direct feed from the battery with a relay in the middle, but I might be oversimplifying somewhat smile.

i was woundering if anyone else had put a fuel cut off in the loom, as if the car was involved in a crash the pump would keep running!

ECU normally switches pump off when rev count = 0, but ignition is still on.... Not sure with the MBE.

but if the fuel line was cut in a crash am i right in thinking that it would not cut off the fuel!! as ign would still be on!!

There must be an inertia cut off somewhere on the car?

Engine would stall due to no fuel pressure, engine rev. count = 0, ECU switches off pump.

but if the pipe was split it would still have fuel pressure so engine wolud no cut, not realy a good idea?

If the pipe was split I think it unlikely there would be any pressure, just petrol all over the place for a few seconds.

An Exhaust manifold is hot enough to ignite petrol or petrol vapour / air mixture so just the same risk really IMO
