While at the Autosport show I was looking out for the fellow Noble owners and was asking about Grooved rear disc for you unlucky guys with the 3ltr cars.

Not sure if anyone ever sorted this but:

AP (who are not happy with Noble) said to contact and talk to Rossin and I have the card of a AP guy who can help out if Rossin agree to do them.

Also there was another company (I think a few Noble Owners had already spoke to him) that have said if you give them dimensions (or a disc then they will make some.

Any one interested and I'll give you details.

Thought front and rear discs were the same for all our cars confused

(Obviously fronts are different to rears)

As far as I'm aware you can only get front grooved discs for the 3ltr cars from Noble. For the 2.5 you can get front and rears.

The rear discs also incorporate the handbrake drum.

Fronts are drilled from Noble and obviously what ever you want direct from AP.
The rears are bespoke to Noble and the 3R / 400 are only available in drilled and AP would not budge on this.

I was merely contributing to the post and confirming that mgbond is correct that the rears are different - i'd say that is a contribution... rolleyes

My contribution is that AP disks are rubbish, I believe they may be made of cheese.

Factory has just confirmed all front discs the same. And all rear discs the same. (A few very early rear discs were 2-piece, but the later one piece fit and that's all they supply).

And those early disc are probably the 2.5s. There are many posts on here about people trying to get grooved rears. I know you can get them for the 2.5 but not the 3s.

AP will get involved in doing them if we go through Rossin or there are this other company that was at the Show.

From my experience of replacing discs all round on the 2.5, the fronts and rears are two piece. However it is difficult to get the disc for the rear in this setup. I changed mine to the later 1 piece design at the rear as they were cheaper and easier to find replacements for. (They are eexactly the same dimensions.)
