Just wondering what the difference is with the M400 gear linkage?
Anyone have any pics or any info on it?

I had the M400 linkage fitted in 2007 to my GTO-3. Got to say that it feels sooooooooooo much better. A lot slicker and I haven't gone to miss a gear once since it was fitted. One of the best mod's you can do IMHO.

The boys at Brunters did mine, so I can't advise on how easy or pics I'm afraid.

Can't remember what the break down was as I had it fitted along with a 6spd and LSD, so I remember just being charged for the parts.

Lol. When mine was standard I just found it a little in decisive at times. Once hot it wouldn't wont to be rushed into say 3rd gear when accelerating hard. But then mine was only the 5spd before so not sure what the linkage is like on a standard 6spd.

The linkages were improved during the 3R build probably to the ST220 ones or whatever so the early ones like mine were poor compared to the newer ones and the M400 linkages are way ahead of these.

My change was a bit dodgy (5-speed standard linkage) from 2nd to 3rd for a bit but the guys that did the service repaired an inexpensive part and it's been fine since then.

Would be interesting to compare the two.

The difference is having a gear change that is comparable to a std production car instead of the stirring porridge change of the standard Noble smile If i was ever blessed with money and a Noble again this would be no 1 on the list of to do's

Just a quick reminder...M400 linkage will only fit on the 6 speed box.
