I'd be interested to know too as mine needs replacing! - I think it might be Ford Escort?

A clue - on the US forums, it was suggested that Victoria British might stock it - Victoria British are a MG, Triumph specialist... If so, should be easy to find in the UK.

Mine is seized, so when i get the floors off i'll see if i can match it up.

Sorry to say that hint did not pan out.

I am the one that started the question. My heater(water) control valve developed a leak and I need to replace but it has been difficult to locate the repalcement part.

If anyone on that side of the pond knows the part and a place to purchase it would be helpful.

Right now the car is sitting on a lift waiting to be driven.

Sorry I couldn't find my original post you emailed me from - but my problem was basically just the heater dial linkage that got stuck - and this is easiest accessed when the car is cold from the small vent cover under side the car located under the dash area - you have to squueze your hand through the pipes to get to it. - you say a leak are you sure it's not a cut pipe going through one of the bulkheads rubbing against the bear metal?
