Andrea,

If I get the gist of what you're asking - can a faulty lambda sensor result in low boost? Not normally, as there is no direct link in the ECU strategy between the lambda sensor and a safety mode. However, if the sensor fails and the ECU tries to add fuel to get the sensor to respond, then yes, the power will be much reduced because it will be over-fuelling massively (in the MBE system, the voltage of a lean sensor and a failed sensor are the same).

On the 2.5s the sensors are fitted in the manifold upstream of the turbos and there has been more than one destructive failure of the sensor which has caused debris to go through the turbos.

If you're still not seeing correct levels of boost, can you confirm that your car has the MBE ECU and that it has been fitted with electronic boost control?

A non-electronic boost control setup has a feed from the compressor housing directly to the wastegate capsule which is pre-set to cap the boost at 0.7Bar.

If all the pipework and wiring/hardware is present for electronic boost control, and you're still seeing low boost, then maybe the power to the boost control solenoid is a problem. Can you check if there is 12V at one of the pins with the ignition on?

Hopefully F.C. will be along with a translation, if you have problems understanding this.

YellowShed

thanks for the responses .... are my MBE ecu .... I DO NOT UNDERSTAND CONNECTIONS 12V? the pressure reaches 0.7 .... but it should get to 0.9 with 1.0 update from the noble invioiata Unit ... I do not understand that disconnect hose? to download a / c, I wet the pad passengers d water ....
