Use after Winter Storage

Hi all

I've not used my Nob for the last 3 months during the winter months

My car is in the garage on a trickle charger.
A mate was around at the weekend, and he said that I should be starting it up at least every other week, otherwise I may experience problems with bits drying up?

He said that given it's been 3 months since I fired it up, I should be careful upon doing so when I get around to it.

I'm now worried that I may have created problems, when i thought i was doing no harm by not using it.

Any advise would be much appreciated, as I keen to have some trouble free motoring while the mild weather lasts

Not used for 3 months - shame on you

Its always best to keep things moving and starting it up every week or so and letting everything warm up and all fluids move about can't be a bad idea.
I'd just have a good look round before you try starting it to make sure everything looks ok, I'm sure it will be fine.

Mine not been used really in the same time, BUT i have started moved outta the garage on several occasions. I would check all fluids etc other than that im sure it will be fine.

The car I bought had sat unused for some time...two problems, seized brakes and dried out seals on the turbo's......best advice it to start it up every fortnight or so and at least turn the wheels.

I get mine out ( more nob gags ! ) every week or so and take it for 20 odd miles when the weather is poor. That way I hope things dont seize up.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll try and use it this weekend after checking it over. The car that is.
