No, alas not

But you try getting chains that fit 20" wheels. It's bloddy hard, but not as hard as getting some snow and mud tyres!

And with an apartment in LDA and a vehicle I hope you are going to make full use of La Grave. Frickin' love that place.

Oh right, the end of the world then. I had a few mates living down that end last year, it's a nice part.

LDA feels like my second home, did a season last year and been out twice already this year. I love it there. I never went as far as La Barade or Vaujany though (assuming that's what you meant by D526), didn't have the use of a car and had to get back to serve dinner to the Billy Bunters so La Grave was as far as we got.

Yes, it's very quiet but very close to the east and west bubbles to give you a good choice of where you start the morning.

The D526 runs North from Rochetaillee on the way in (the major turn before the L'Alpe d'Huez roundabout, just before the long straight road) and runs up to Col de la Croix de Fer abnd Col du Glandon.

They are meant to be absolutly beautiful in the summer.
