Hi.

Needing a fuel filter for my 2.5 GTO.

I have seen the info on Noble parts but local parts dealer cant seem to find info on his system for 15mm filter.

Has anyone a part number or additional info that i can pass on??

Also what pressure does the fuel pump operate at??

Thanks

Not sure on the 2.5s, but should be about 45-50 psi on 3Rs/M400s. The key is actually the setting of the fuel pressure regulator since that controls flow to the injectors.

Spoke to the guys in the link above and they're units are uprated filters which i'm sure are the ones to go for but just out of interest what is the replacement part for the current fitted filter??

I've just checked mine this weekend and it had a paper filter that was black with dirt, also a few metal filings! yikes So i checked around and have ordered a high flow metal filter from someone off ebay, item number 390030091891 or you can also get them from demon tweeks. (Paper and metal.)

Seen the item on Ebay, thanks.
So finally is it worth spending the extra £50 on the uprated filter from fuelsystem.co.uk?

Great.

And finally, what is the best / recommended way to get to and replace the current filter. Going to attack it now.

Remove arch liner, probably easier to remove the wheel to have max access.

Does the std 2.5 filter come apart then so this can be fitted in inside?

Mine's a 3.0 so dont know about the 2.5 sorry, but it is a decent bit of kit and i think it's about £50ish new with the holder. (Well, if you can call the spring clips a holder.)
