Swivel joint - What locks the thread into the hub carrier?

Just removed the Front top swivel joint to replace it and was wondering what actually locks the thread into the hub carrier.
I can't seem to find anything therefore would assume that it could just unscrew it self which would have interesting results!!!??

As i remember thees a grubscrew in the alu housing to secure it in place.

Nothing other than loctite AFAIK, don't think ever any issues if fitted properly. The ally fitting with the grub screw hole was withdrawn because they had a problem with them cracking.

As noted above IIRC this was a Noble re-call as the top alloy block can fail without warning, it may pay you to ring the factory or a Noble main dealer as I think it is a F.O.C. Job.
