Wheel bearings and flanges
Discussion
Hi guys,
My car (3R) is in for a service and the rear wheel bearing need replaced.
The mechanic recommended get the flanges replaced as well.
I don't see mention of flanges in FAQ or noble parts or via searching this forum.
When buying the wheel bearing do they come with the flanges or is there a specific part for them?
Any thoughts much appreciated,
Cheers
Kenny

Ok but Why? Just cos he says they need doing! Remember "warped discs" and other stealership myths. Why does he think they need replacing?

Ryan - i've bought the kits (QWB831) from http://www.rapidcarparts.co.uk/bmw-320-rear-wheel-...
Paul - i trust the mechanic - he's done good by me in the past. He's said he has fixed at least 4 Noble wheel bearings in the past and each time had to replace or patch up the flange.
If no-one knows the part number then i'll call Noble tomorrow.
Cheers for all the help,
Kenny
