Thought I'd share a bit of an update with you after a week with the car.
Okay, how does it compare to the Cerbera? Well, I'd say better in pretty much every aspect apart from the interior and the noise. The handling is leagues apart, the Cerb is a stonkingly quick car but through the twistys the Noble would show it a clean pair of heels. The ride is also better in the Noble, the brakes are on a par with each other. I'd say the straight-line speed is similar but the Noble feel a touch quicker possibly due to the extra traction off the line.
The interior is great fun and suits the car perfectly, it doesn't quite have the impact of the Cerbera in that area but it's more in keeping with the style. The noise isn't as spectacular but to be honest it makes it easier to live with on longer journeys and is much more civilised. The turbo noise is great fun, brings a smile to my face each time.
Of my little list of snags I've made a little progress, the throttle is better for a bit of use, the pivots has been oiled but I think the main restriction is how the cable has been run. Would be interested to see a few more and note how they've been done, but it's no longer an issue. The clutch is much less 'snappy' now, a bit of use has seen it bed in and smooth pull-always are now much easier. The indicator lamp looks like a total nightmare to but a brighter bulb into, I might put a small LED on the column on the opposite side to the alarm light instead. The heater valve has freed up nicely although getting the balance between warm and too warm is still a delicate art.
So, two outstanding problems really:
1) The alarm question has been answered so have removed point, ta.
2) The brakes whilst being very, very good still feel a little spongy on the pedal. I've bled them the old fashioned way but it's made little difference, I'll get them pressure bled as well. To be honest I suspect the seals in the master cylinder are not 100%. Where is the unit from? Are replacement seals available?
I'm still so pleased with the car, it's fantastic and I'm not regretting my move away from TVR's one little bit, just such a fantastic bit of kit

As for your alarm, it's an autowatch system, go on the website and you can find out a dealer near you who will pop one in the post.
A bit of a pain to fit, but if you don't mind a bit of wiring you should be ok.
If I remember correctly, they are actually on a plug, but the replacement doesn't have a plug, ( why would you want a plug in siren ), so a bit of cutting and connections needed.

Interesting, thanks. 
A GTO-3R was spot on with us through both the speed traps at shelsey, so I dont think theres much in it between the two in straight line speed at all*... I am hoping the M400 would be a noticeable step up.

- this was in the wet and the Noble was some 3seconds quicker time wise - absolutely incredible pace.
