Just wondering how much roughly you can expect to pay total for a clutch change on a 2.5 GTO and where people recommend having this done?

Also the cigarette lighter isn;t working with my chargers. Where abouts is the fuse for this?

Thanks

The factory time for a clutch swap is 18 hours. redface
I have mine to do imminantly as well and havin had a close look at it we reckon we can shave at least 6 hours off that time?

From memory, helix item is around £180, (I assume for cover and plate), AP item cover and plate is £364. The release bearing assembly is £227.00 though that price was for the 6 speed.
Seeing as you appear to be very local, We're in Kirkby if you want to pop up and have a chat, feel free?

Mike.

Thanks, Not a cheap job then.

Mine is hopefully should be okay for a while but there is a slight loose plate sound when you lift off the clutch in neutral.

Have been told this can be common on all cars and not to worry to much but nice to prepare.

Would be interesting to see what process works best though.

Some of them do this from new so I wouldn't worry too much.
