Can't wait, and I'm only getting my car back!
Discussion
2pm tomorrow (not that I'm counting the hours!)I shall be picking my car up from Kerridges having had its big 24000 mile service, new style rear manifold, rear pads, complete check over and a clean bill of health, along with a bill that all things considered was bit of a pleasant surprise,(thanks David). What is it with these cars that no matter how long you've owned it,as soon as its gone for a while you miss it,and still gives you that twinge of excitement when you know you're getting it back.Really looking forward to the drive back.........., but of course there'll be monsoon rain, the A12 will be shut, etc etc etc..........
I know what you mean. Mine has been stood still since the end of November. The battery was knackered, and i only changed it a couple of days ago! Not as bad a job as some have said, just a bit fiddly, and mine was only on jacks and pieces of wood in a cramped garage. Took about an hour and a half. As soon as i turned the ignition on, and the lights lit up and the fuel pump whirred it gave me goose-pimples (should i be saying this - probably not). When it kicked in first time i felt like when i had my first technical lego set on my 10th birthday!! Anyway, just need to tighten a couple of things here and there and i'm back on the road. I am genuinely as exciited as the day i picked it up 2 years ago, well, nearly. Like you say, tomorrows weather is going to be pants, snow and hail. So i'm going to watch Jenson kick Hamiltons ass in qualifying, then on sunday give her a real good run. Going to be cool but sunny all day. Cant wait.
