BAD Suspension
Discussion
Yes, that is their name and only goes to show they have a sense of humour!
Many thanks to John from Black Art Design for turning round my 2 rear Dynamic dampers so quickly. He got them Friday morning , I collected them Tuesday afternoon.
Near side rear was completely shagged -no gas, no oil and a hole punched through the floating piston. Not surprising the car felt a bit wobbly going round right handers!
Getting a new piston was a bit of a fluke -Dynamic are now owned by Multimatic - a Canadian based race suspension outfit, but they just happened to have a spare piston knocking about at the base at Thetford. Also worth knowing that the top and bottom bolts for the dampers were imperial rather than metric and I ended up at a farm machinery outfit to source new Nylocks.
Have to say their own design dampers looked very tasty - might be worth considering a simple Nitron like design (just a hard and a soft setting) with the default being a replicate of the current Dynamics (which I happen to like).
