What brake fluid???

Just dropped my car up to my local garage for MOT and to look into poss brake fluid leak-(front off side, cant see any leak from above but its def oil of somekind cant tell what) can someone tell me the type of fluid I need so I can tell the garage, they thought "dot 5" poss, is this correct????. Has anyone got any ideas what else it could be (clutch level seems fine)leaking in that area. Seems to collect on the floorpan directly underneath washer bottle, to help speed repair as would love to have sorted for the long weekend!!!! Many thanks

Paul, probably oil leaking from the power steering pipe connection to the rack. Connection to the pipe can be a problem.

Thanks Kevin, will get them to check, is it better to drop the floor pan to get to that??

PS- Have those bushes if you still want them.

No you should be able to get at it from the drivers side by removing the wheel, it might be the pipe that connects to the oil cooler if your lucky, if so remove the whole pipe and get the ends reterminated.
