hey guys just fitted a new fuel filter to my M12 3R now the old girl wont start i checked that there was plenty of fuel coming threw the filter all seems fine but seems like there isnt any coming threw the pump. i checked all the wiring all seems fine. Any ideas ???? also anyway to test the pump ???

does the pump prime up when you switch the ignition on ?

It's probably needing bled. There is a small valve (like a tyre valve) on the fuel rail under the inlet manifold. Take the cap off and push the pin in to purge the air. This is the same point where you can connect a gauge to check the pressure which would be the next thing to do if this doesn't work. Good pressure is somewhere around 40-50psi.

I've just had a new pump fitted to mine after the old one packed in because some crap got past the filter.

Cheers for your help guys i have tried to bleed the valve but pushed pin fully in and there is no air pressure coming out is this normal ?

oh yer also cant here the pump wining when ignition turned on i have checked the inline fuse and wiring all looks ok

do you have the wiring mod ?
If so check the original fuse in the block above the ECU which is now the trigger for the relay,or if you have a multimeter check the 2 feeds to the relay base

cheers daddysumo was just the fuse gone must have shorted something when i was changing filter thanks for your help guys
