Stolen to order

Don't know if this is old news or not, but my neighbour(police) told me today that 2 Nobles have been stolen in Kent very recently. One of them a silver one at Brands Hatch. According to him, both thefts look like they have been stolen to order and not just nicked for a quick blast.
I have also had a recent email saying that thieves are putting notes on the back window of cars. When the driver gets in and notices it, they often get out to remove it having left the motor running. The next bit is obvious!

I've done lots of covert work on these little s**m bags over the past 11 years. Stealing high performance cars during Burglaries (Known as 'Ledbury Burglary') is all to common now I'm afraid.
Some of the lads are well set up and do in fact sell motors on for around 1-2k a pop. But there are a lot that just do it for fun as they will never be able to drive such cars. That's where the Noble comes in!! They are not taken to order but thrashed and played with. They are then plugged up somewhere to see if they are found via tracker. If not the thieves play some more and use them to do other burglaries. Safe in the knowledge that no fuzz will catch them.
Unfortunately, when they are caught the courts aren't strong enough so when they come out of from their holiday inside they start all over again. I worked on one gang that did 2 Million £££'s worth in 6 week and only served 1 year each.
If any off you want some advice re the most common MO for getting in and taking your pride and joy just give me an email. I don't really want to splash it across an open forum. I have worked very closely with these people and know a few tricks!!

LOL, yeah you're right about standing out and getting stuff in!!
Thing is, they wouldn't be worried mate. Normally they have what is known as a blender with them (Something like a Vauxhall Zaria) which is also stolen but on false plates. That way if there's anything nice that they want it goes in that. But to be honest when they take sometjhing as special as the Noble, it's all about the ride and getting chased by the Feds.

mine was parked at my mums some time ago and she heard some noise outside
the garage door was open, somebody was looking at my car !
luckily i had removed the rear towing eye and the steering was on full lock so it would not come out of the garage
it gave me a fright !
i had another car that was visited many years ago - they could not steal it due to some of the stealth bits preventing it starting - but opened the bonnet and started to strip it. I woke up and the bonnet was open and lots of expensive stuff gone
they were lucky i didn't wake up earlier - I keep an air rifle and baseball bat under the bed !
