Floor refit

I'll be removing and re-fitting the floor on my car soon as a number of the rivets have corroded. I know this subject has been covered on here before but I couldn't find anything on the search engine so:
1. Is the carpet attached to the floor panel?
2. I'll use stainless screws to re-secure. What size screws do I need? Any recommendations as to where to get them?
3. Any other tips while I'm at it?

The carpet is stuck down with tackifier, each section pulls up quite easily from inside and it leaves all the vertical carpets in position, just get a can of tackifier and stick them back in.

1. hope youve got a ramp organized
2yes carpet glued to floor
3 stainless self tappers with washers 3mm xhalf inch each dipped in thread loctite
4 strip old paint from chassis
5 get ready to maybe replace rotten sections
6 replace all old 10mm water hose with 3ply silicone.need 1 length of 4mtrs plus another 4mtrs
7 replace old jubilee clips for silicone hose types
8run a thin bead of mastic on every rivet hole before refitting
9if possible inject chassis with waxoyl
