Number of Nobles on the road in the UK

I've been given some interesting info regarding the total number of Nobles on the road here in the UK. Unfortunately i cannot give you a breakdown on specific numbers of models only just the overall number on the road right now.It has come from a reliable source.

If via DVLA road fund license data then inaccurate as all won't be registered.
According to a "reliable source" there were 730 units supplied to the UK market. Assuming you're specifying currently on-the-road only (e.g.: taking into account written-off and unregistered units) I'll guess at...

I was expecting a number similar to yours Rob - 657. This is a really low number i have and frankly im skeptical about my figure as its so low, im going to double check this result i have as it maybe coming from DVLA road fund license data
Like you said not all will be registered. I'll do some more investigation on this. Interesting
My numbers are from Simon Hucknall (and are posted publicly). For you newbies he was the PR manager at Noble during most of the production years.
240 would suggest that, either Simon was way out, or 480+ (2/3rds) of produced units have disappeared from the UK roads.

Thats a question i'd like to know too. I can only think of one reason why someone would not register their car and thats if they intend to keep the car in storage. I can't see that many people doing that.Edited by node on Thursday 4th June 14:33

If it's anything except from the factory ship records, then it's going to be wrong IMHO.
I had an argument with DVLA about mine 2 years after it was registered when the Car Tax online system thought my car was a van.... The previous two years it was fine, imagine my intruige when my tax disc turned up in the post with the correct resistration but stating it was a certain mid sized van!
The factory ship numbers are a matter of public record AFAIK.
