Side repeaters/lights

Morning guys, am i right in thinking the side repeaters are just standard mark 1 mondeo's? Thinking about replacing them with some nice clear ones. Any good websites to pick them up? still not sure if i should change the rear lights to some black lexus style ones on my Monza red 3r..

Guess i should do mine soon too. 
did the fronts to clear just never thought about the side's. Out of interest note that the standard light (ie: the Ford with a filament bulb) provides a 180 degree field of view - front to back. The LED type only gives a very narrow band (say 50 degrees) so cannot be seen directly in front or behind the car - try it at night. This is why I changed mine back - lucky I hadn't binned them.

Ah bugga so does that mean i will have to re wire the new ones tof it?TOENHEEL said:

Nah, just clip on a couple of line connectors.WARNING: DO NOT drop the cables down inside the panel - a bugger to get hold of them again without using one of those bendy, springy tool things - like I did
Last resort would be to remove the panel which is bolted and silconed on.AMG Merc said:

Last resort would be to remove the panel which is bolted and silconed on.
Hand book says:"The side repeater bulb can be accessed by simply pulling the unit out of its mounting from one end. The bulb holder then needs to be turned counter-clockwise in order to remove the lens..........Refitting is the reverse of the above process. hth 
I feel it should also say "you may need a springey bendy thingey if it all goes t*ts-up"!!
