Thats your reciver-drier and it will be on the high side of your a/c system. Easy to replace. Best for you to get in touch with a company called "four seasons". I havent used them for a while but its the only automotive a/c parts supplier I can think of. They should be able to help. Another that has just come to me is "Papworth". I shall go off and do some digging and see if I can find you some numbers
Ok, just got works laptop out for our suppliers. Papworths number is 01954 267215 four seasons is 0845 067 0666. Try both, you need to find what the drier is from, if anyone on here knows. They are pretty much standard. You may be able to send them the pic you posted to identify. The sweet smelling yellow liquid is oil from your a/c system that has a dye in it to help detect leaks as Steve mentioned. You have detected yours, all over the floor!!!Any problems let me know HTH
