Yep, they're suction (pull) fans.

Early cars:

SPAL VA09-AP8/C-27A (3010.0364)
Max airflow 1,376 cubic metres/hr

Later:

SPAL VA10-AP50/C-61A (3010.1522)
Max airflow 2,270 cubic metres/hr

The uprated fans draw more current so I think a couple of fuses in the fuse box will need changing (from 10 to 15 Amps).

Was planning to do this myself sometime.

Andrea

If you are going to do the fan upgrade you might like to think about the Pro-Alloy radiator upgrade at the same time.

I think it's definitely VA10-AP50/C-61A (maybe an owner of a later car can confirm this?).

I've found them for sale in the UK, but maybe they are an old model by now.

I'm lucky enough to own a car that has one of each of the fans fitted, in a vain attempt to preventing it from overheating. It's fine most of the time - only ever been a problem when stop / starting @ Le Mans. Is the upgraded fan an item that is fitted to more standard vehicles? If it is, I don't mind searching for a pre-enjoyed fan in a recycling centre, i.e scrap yard

All documented here how Noble (with my help...) changed the fan system.

Part numbers are as above.
