passenger door wont open

For some reason when i unlock the car the passenger door will not open, i can hear the mechanism working so its a bit odd any ideas?

Oporating rod fallen off, take doorcard off, it will be obvious

This happened to me while parked at LeMans and no tools,so back at campsite fixed with good old cable ties,always carry these in the car .....!!!

Well after a blat out this afternoon im starting to realise what these cars are all about, some annoying niggles but my god the car drives well, first time i think in a car ive experienced bikers not able to pull away from me..love it.

they are a bit of a "labour of love " i seem to spend on average 4 or 5 hours a weekened doing something !!!! today i fixed the passenger air vent so it actualy blew air out ....and fitted a very smart Audi TT air vent grill !! as well as cleaned new exhaust ! wonder what i will do next week ....

I spend very little time on mine lol... although I did strip and cut out the rusty rear chasis and weld in new, along with cleaning up and re painting the rear chasis generally in preparation for my entire new exhaust system (incl cats) that im having done next week.

I replaced the rusty hairclips that protect the clamshell cables/bolts from falling off at the weekend - took 15 minutes as the old one's were rusted in - tough job

Thats only because you want to find jobs to do on your car to do!

I stripped off my rear downpipe last night and my CAT is toast, cant imagine anything getting through it and it rattles around terribly, no wonder it struggles at the MoT 2 weeks ago. Better get a spare gearbox sorted asap with an LSD me thinks!

Just lucky, I was in the local discount store and they do Rolson tools. Rolson also do pre-packed plastic boxes with all sizes of (washers, circlips, bolts, screws, connectors, you name it) and there was a box of paper clips - so I purchased about 70 clips when I needed 4 but the lot only cost £2.80

Now I have a lifetime supply and will never use them
