I spend very little time on mine lol... although I did strip and cut out the rusty rear chasis and weld in new, along with cleaning up and re painting the rear chasis generally in preparation for my entire new exhaust system (incl cats) that im having done next week.AMG Merc said:
I replaced the rusty hairclips that protect the clamshell cables/bolts from falling off at the weekend - took 15 minutes as the old one's were rusted in - tough job
i need some of these !!! where did you get them from ? you see got a job for next week already

I stripped off my rear downpipe last night and my CAT is toast, cant imagine anything getting through it and it rattles around terribly, no wonder it struggles at the MoT 2 weeks ago. Better get a spare gearbox sorted asap with an LSD me thinks!

Just lucky, I was in the local discount store and they do Rolson tools. Rolson also do pre-packed plastic boxes with all sizes of (washers, circlips, bolts, screws, connectors, you name it) and there was a box of paper clips - so I purchased about 70 clips when I needed 4 but the lot only cost £2.80 Now I have a lifetime supply and will never use them
